A $2.99 screwdriver sized for the AI SafetyCam screws. The interesting part is not the tool. It is knowing which screws on this camera you will touch.

| Where | What Azuga says | Tool needed |
|---|---|---|
| Three security screws on the round side | Loosen, but do not remove, to aim the lenses, then tighten | Not stated |
| SD slot cover | Remove for a reboot and the pinhole Reset | Not stated |
| Protective cover for SIM and SD | Shop says it is secured with a safety screw | Not stated |
| Mounting points | Shop sells five screws sized for them | Not stated |
Azuga names the tasks but not the tools. Whether this screwdriver fits all four is not verified. Test it on a camera before you buy a box of them. Buy one, try it on every row of that table, and write down which rows it covers, so you know what your driver set still has to handle.
Azuga's aiming order is to mount the camera first, loosen the three security screws without removing them, set the road view with the body and the cab view with the ring, then tighten. Both lenses then tilt together. A tool that slips here scratches the housing or strips a head, so fit and feel matter more than price.
If your own driver set already fits every screw above, you do not need it. If it does not, the price is trivial next to a stripped head on a camera on a customer vehicle. Carrying a spare in each kit is a sensible habit. Treat the tool and the screws as a pair, and keep them in one bag. If you hand a camera kit to a customer who will service it themselves, include the tool so they never reach for the wrong driver.
The shop does not say. Ask Azuga or check one before you buy.
The shop lists it for the AI dash cam. For the Plus, Azuga mentions a hex screw on the mount. We have not verified whether this tool fits it.
If it fits the screws and does not slip, yes. Azuga does not say a special tool is required.
