Where Azuga fits at each fleet size, what it adds up to using only published prices, and what to ask Azuga at each size.
Fleet size is not one number. We use the two sizes our own installs are built around, and we tell you where Azuga is a good match and where it is not.
Azuga's site labels small business as under 100 vehicles, with a "5 to 99 vehicles" button, and enterprise as 100 or more. Its 20 percent promotion is limited to 5 to 100 vehicles and to new US and Canada business customers. On G2, 45.4 percent of Azuga's reviewers are small businesses.
Azuga's marketing starts at five vehicles, and its promotion starts at five. We could not verify whether Azuga sells directly to a one to four vehicle fleet, so if you run one to four vehicles, ask Azuga about minimums before you plan around it.
This is the size Azuga markets to. Published per-vehicle pricing makes budgeting simple. Using only Azuga's published list prices, ten vehicles on BasicFleet is $250 a month, and ten on CompleteFleet is $350 a month. Add the SafetyCam at about $42 to $50 per vehicle and the same ten vehicles run roughly $670 to $850 a month. That is simple addition of published prices, not an Azuga quote.
| Ten vehicles | Per month |
|---|---|
| BasicFleet only | $250 |
| CompleteFleet only | $350 |
| BasicFleet plus SafetyCam ($41.99 to $49.99) | $669.90 to $749.90 |
| CompleteFleet plus SafetyCam ($41.99 to $49.99) | $769.90 to $849.90 |
Hardware prices are not published by Azuga. Azuga does not publish what is included with the hardware, so ask. This is the FleetStart range: one visit, one price, nothing left half done.
Azuga fits this range by its own definition. The install work changes more than the product does. With a fleet this size the problem is consistency, not speed. Mixed install methods make a fleet harder to keep consistent. This is the ProFleet range: one written standard, checked vehicle by vehicle, scheduled around dispatch.
Fleets that run a lot of hours-of-service work should look at the Azuga ELD add-on and ask Azuga how it is priced.
Azuga lists a separate enterprise line for 100 or more vehicles. We have not verified enterprise terms, and we found no published pricing. A fleet this large should plan a pilot on a small group of vehicles first.
Trailers, containers and small tools are tracked with different hardware, and the count is separate from your vehicle count. The Equipment Beacon is detected by a GV620MG tracker, and Azuga's pages disagree on how many one tracker can see (100 or more in one place, 50 nearby at once in another).
| Fleet size | Azuga fit | What we look at first |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 4 | Ask Azuga first | Minimums, and whether a plug-in is enough |
| 5 to 10 | The sweet spot | Plan tier, dash cam need, who plugs in and who wires |
| 11 to 99 | Good, within Azuga's own small business line | One install standard, dispatch schedule, ELD needs |
| 100+ | Azuga enterprise line | Pilot group, plan terms, support path |
Buy on how many vehicles you run today and what you need each one to do. Then ask Azuga for the plan that matches, and for the current terms.
