A $2.99 adhesive mount with no drilling. It is cheap, but the adhesive only gets one try, so the work is in the placement.

The shop lists this as a 3M adhesive mount for the AI SafetyCam. It says the mount needs no drilling or screws. The price was $2.99 on 2026-10-21. That is all it says. There is no size, no temperature range and no mention of what surface it bonds to.
Azuga's stand-alone camera guide recommends the mirror mount or the suction cup. It says to mount as high as possible on the driver side, inside the wiper sweep, with the driver's upper body visible and nothing blocking the in-cab lens. It also says to check local rules on objects on the windshield first. The pages we read do not describe this adhesive mount, so its steps are ours, not Azuga's.
For the newer Plus and Pro, Azuga says to wipe the glass with alcohol, press the plate for 30 seconds and wait at least 15 minutes before attaching the camera. That is Azuga's method for another mount, but it is a sensible model for this one too.
At $2.99 there is no reason to run a job on one mount. Keep a few in the van. If the first pad lifts, or the placement turns out wrong, you can remove it and start fresh without a second trip. We do not know how well the pad can be removed and reused, and Azuga does not say, so plan on a new one each time.
No. Azuga's guide mentions the mirror mount and the suction cup. This is a separate adhesive mount from the shop.
Azuga does not say. We would plan on one placement and treat any move as a new mount.
The shop lists it for the AI dash cam. The Plus and Pro have their own windshield mounts at $10, listed separately.
