The plug-in way to power the earlier Azuga AI SafetyCam. It is fast, but it ties the camera to the OBD port, and Azuga has rules about what else may sit there.

The shop calls this a plug-and-play OBD power cable for the AI SafetyCam. It connects to the vehicle OBD-II port and powers the dash cam without hardwiring. The price was $20 on 2026-10-21. No length or connector detail is listed.
Azuga's install guide for this camera recommends powering it from an OBD-II Y-cable. The shop part is named an OBD power cable. The pages we read do not say whether they are the same part, or whether this one has a second socket for a tracker. We will not assume it. Ask Azuga whether the cable has a pass-through before you plan a job around it.
Azuga notes that when an OBD tracker is paired with a SafetyCam, the tracker must be the 4G LTE version. Azuga identifies it by a product code that starts with DCM970. If the vehicle already has an older tracker in the port, the camera may power up, but the pairing the guide describes may not work. Check the code on the tracker label before you order the cable.
Pick one power route per fleet and write it down. A mix of OBD cables and hardwired cables on similar vehicles is how nobody can say why camera 14 went offline. The OBD route is easier to support from a desk, because a plug is something a driver can check.
Azuga does not say. The shop text only covers powering the dash cam. Ask before you rely on a pass-through.
Azuga says the OBD tracker must be the 4G LTE version, identified by a code starting with DCM970.
Check the vehicle association, the install and the network first. Then run the AI SafetyCam status report, which is Azuga's own order of checks for a camera that will not turn on.
