This is the JBUS extender cable with a 14 pin RP1226 adapter. The shop says it links JBUS diagnostic ports to devices that need a 14 pin connection on heavy-duty trucks. No length is stated. The price was $29.99, the same as the 6 pin Y-cable, and it showed as sold out when we checked on 2026-10-21.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What does the shop say? | An extender with a 14 pin RP1226 adapter for heavy-duty trucks. |
| What is RP1226? | The name of an industry practice for a 14 pin connector. That is general industry knowledge, not an Azuga statement. |
| Which Azuga device uses it? | Not verified. Azuga does not say in any page we read. |
| How long is it? | Not stated. |
| Is it in stock? | Sold out on 2026-10-21. |
We would rather print that table than fill the gaps with guesses. A guess on a cable you have not seen can turn into a truck sitting in the bay.
First, look at the truck again. Some trucks have more than one diagnostic connection, and a 6 pin or 9 pin port may be available. If so, the matching 6 pin or 9 pin extender is in stock and costs half as much. Do not assume it works for the device you plan to fit. Check with Azuga, because the shop does not say.
Second, tell the customer the truth. Say the part is out of stock at Azuga, give the date you were told, and set the install after it. A booked day with a missing part is worse than a day booked a week later.
Not unless Azuga says so. The 14 pin connector is a different connector from the 6 and 9 pin ports. We do not swap cables on a guess.
We would buy one against a booked truck, not a shelf of them. Azuga has not said which devices need it, so a shelf could sit unused.
