The 2 wire tracker needs only power and ground, so extending it is simple. Here is how far a metre goes, the limits Azuga gives, and how we test it.

This is the 2 wire hardwire extension cable in the Azuga shop. It is 1000 mm long, about 3 feet, for Datalogger systems, and the shop says it is intended for extending power. It was $9.99 and in stock on 2026-10-21.
Azuga's 2 wire install guide gives the whole wiring job in two lines. Red goes to constant power, 12 or 24 volts. Black goes to ground. Azuga also says not to install it on a battery source above 24 volts DC, and that a solid green light means success.
| Wire | Goes to | What we check with a meter |
|---|---|---|
| Red | Constant power, 12 or 24 V | Steady voltage with the ignition off and on. |
| Black | Ground | Good continuity to clean bare metal. |
The tracker has a best place to sit, and the nearest constant and ground are not always beside it. Azuga's hardwired guides say to hide the tracker away from moving parts, under the steering column or the passenger-side dash, to keep it at least 6 inches from metal because of the built-in GPS antenna, and to follow the this side up label. A 1000 mm extension lets you honour those rules without dragging the tracker to wherever the power happens to be.
A two wire run has few places to go wrong, and each one is a connection. Use properly rated splices or soldered joints, and insulate each one. Azuga calls its method poke and wrap in the 3 wire guide, and a joint you can trust is the better choice. That is general practice, not an Azuga rule.
Azuga says the 2 wire tracker supports 12 or 24 volts and must not go on a source above 24 volts DC. The shop does not give a rating for the cable, so we confirm with Azuga for a 24 volt install.
The shop does not say. Fusing a constant feed close to where it is tapped is normal practice, and the right value is worth confirming with Azuga for the tracker.
Azuga says red blinking every 2 seconds means the install failed. Recheck the constant and the ground, then the joints you made.
