The permanent power feed for a SafetyCam Pro. It is the cable most likely to go on a work truck, so here is how we plan the run and what not to confuse it with.

This is the hardwire power cable for the SafetyCam Pro, run from the fuse box. The shop gives the same three wire colors as for the Plus: red constant 12 V, white ignition 12 V and black ground. No length or connector is listed. It was in stock on 2026-10-21.
The Pro is the model that takes up to four exterior aux cameras, so it tends to go on box trucks, work trucks and trailers. Those vehicles are the ones where an OBD port is crowded or hard to reach, and where a permanent feed makes sense. That is our reading, not an Azuga rule. Azuga says the hardwire route supports 12 V or 24 V with a minimum of 2 A, which matters on a heavy truck.
| Part | Part number | Shop price | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hardwire power cable for Pro | C-PRO-HW | $25 | Powers the main Pro camera |
| Hardwire aux connector for Pro | C-AUXPRO-HW | $80 | Connects aux cameras on a hardwired Pro |
They are different parts at very different prices. If you are adding aux cameras, you need both. Order from a part number list, not from memory.
Azuga says to route the power cable along the headliner and down the A-pillar. On a truck, measure that route in the cab before you order, because the shop does not publish the length. Keep the cable clear of the steering column and anything that moves. If you are also running aux cable, decide the paths together so the cables do not cross awkwardly behind the dash.
Power the camera for about a minute so the update prompts can finish. Do not unplug it. Then unplug and plug back in before mounting. A camera that has sat in a box may be drained, and Azuga says to charge it from a 2 A source first.
Azuga lists the hardwire route as 12 V or 24 V. We did not find a separate 24 V part, so this is the cable it points to. Confirm the supply with a meter on every truck.
Only if you add aux cameras. The aux connector is a separate $80 part, and Azuga does not say it replaces this cable.
We would not. The shop sells separate cables for each model, and Azuga does not say they are interchangeable.
