At an airport, the fuel truck's day is a string of aircraft stands, each with a pumping event. We wire refueler pump signals into GPS trackers so every fueling is on record with a time and location, for FBOs, airlines and fuel service companies across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi.

A jet refueler carries jet fuel or avgas in a tank, with a pump, filters, a meter and hose reels. The pump is commonly driven by a PTO from the truck transmission. Refuelers have their own safety systems, including deadman controls and interlocks that prevent the truck from moving while a hose or nozzle is out. Those safety systems are never touched by a tracking install.
Truck side wire colors are in our Vehicle Wiring Database.
Where a fuel truck spends long stretches parked between flights, idle reports matter too. With the pump signal wired in, time spent fueling is separated from time spent waiting with the engine running.
Fueling is one of the steps that decides whether a flight leaves on time. Operations teams use refueler location and pumping events to see which trucks are available, which are fueling, and how long each turn takes. Records of each fueling also support billing and audits alongside the meter tickets.
For FBOs that fuel general aviation, a clear record of when each truck was at each aircraft also helps resolve customer questions about wait times and service, and it shows where an extra truck or shift would make the biggest difference.
Fixed base operators, airline fueling departments, into-plane fuel service companies and military and government airfields. Ground fuel delivery trucks are covered on our tanker and fuel truck tracking page.
This is one of the work truck and equipment applications we wire into GPS trackers. See all of them on our PTO and equipment monitoring page, and find wire colors for your truck in our Vehicle Wiring Database.
We wire PTO monitoring into trackers from all of these brands. Need heavy duty trackers for trucks or heavy equipment? Every brand below makes them, so pick yours and we install it.
