Linxup sells GPS tracking for small and mid-sized fleets, with diagnostic port trackers, wired vehicle trackers and asset trackers for equipment. We install Linxup devices for fleets across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi.
It depends on the vehicle and what the fleet needs. A diagnostic port tracker on a harness can give engine data on vehicles that support it, and it is quick to swap. A wired tracker is hidden completely, cannot be unplugged by a driver and works on vehicles without a usable port, including many trailers and older or specialty vehicles.
Either way, the device is mounted solidly with a view of the sky, the wiring is fused and routed clear of pedals and airbags, and the vehicle is tested before it goes back out.
The most common problems we fix are trackers left loose at the port and unplugged by a driver, wired trackers with ignition on the wrong circuit so they log hours while parked, and trackers under metal that report the wrong place. Our GPS tracker failures and fixes guide covers each of these with the fix.
Small and mid-sized fleets that want straightforward tracking for vehicles and equipment. A simple note: decide between port and wired trackers for each vehicle before ordering, since the choice changes what data you get.
Each vehicle is checked for location and ignition on and off at the right times. Wired trackers are checked on a true key-on circuit so they do not log hours while parked. Asset trackers are checked for location. Every device reports on the account before we leave.
Port trackers suit most cars, pickups and vans with a standard diagnostic port. Wired trackers suit everything else with a 12 volt system: older vehicles, box trucks, specialty vehicles and many trailers. Asset trackers cover equipment with no power of its own, like generators, light towers and attachments, running on their own batteries.
Mixing the three on one account is common for contractors and service businesses: port trackers on the pickups, wired trackers on the dump truck and trailer, and asset trackers on the equipment that moves between job sites.
We come to the vehicles, at your yard, shop or job site, and schedule around your routes so trucks stay in service. Each vehicle is metered, installed, tested on the platform and logged before it goes back out. Built by Installers, for Installers.
