Zubie focuses on small and mid-sized fleets, with vehicle tracking, driver behavior and maintenance alerts built for businesses without a full time fleet manager. We install and secure Zubie devices for fleets across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi.
A device left hanging from the diagnostic port is easy to kick loose, easy for a driver to unplug, and in the way when a mechanic needs the port. When it comes loose, the vehicle disappears from the map and nobody knows why until someone goes looking.
We install the device on a harness, mount it solidly behind a panel where drivers cannot reach it, and route the harness clear of pedals and the steering column. The diagnostic port stays available, the device stays connected, and the fleet gets the reporting it paid for. If a vehicle does stop reporting, our GPS tracker failures and fixes guide covers the common causes.
Location, trips and stops, speeding and hard braking alerts, and vehicle health alerts that help catch maintenance before it becomes a breakdown. For a small business, that usually means fewer calls asking where a truck is, proof of when a job was reached, and fewer surprise repairs.
Small and mid-sized fleets that want simple tracking and maintenance alerts. A simple note: ask whether your vehicles' diagnostic ports support the data you want before ordering devices for older or heavy vehicles.
Each vehicle is checked for location, trips, ignition on and off and vehicle health data where the vehicle supports it. The device is checked for a solid mount, and the harness for clearance from the pedals and steering column. The diagnostic port is left accessible for service.
Most cars, pickups and vans built for the U.S. market since 1996 have the standard diagnostic port these devices use. What the device can read through that port, such as fuel level, odometer and fault codes, varies by make, model and year. Electric vehicles, heavy trucks and specialty vehicles can differ, so we check each vehicle on your list before the install and tell you up front which ones need a different approach.
Vehicles with remote starters, upfitted equipment or aftermarket electronics near the port get extra attention, because a shared or modified port is a common cause of devices dropping off the map.
We come to the vehicles, at your yard, shop or job site, and schedule around your routes so trucks stay in service. Each vehicle is metered, installed, tested on the platform and logged before it goes back out. Built by Installers, for Installers.
