For a bobtail or fuel truck, a delivery is the time the pump ran at a customer address. We wire the pump or PTO signal into your tracker so every stop shows whether product was actually delivered there. We do this across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi.

A fuel or propane delivery truck carries a tank on a straight truck chassis and delivers to homes, farms, job sites and businesses. Propane bobtails fill customer tanks, and fuel trucks deliver diesel and gasoline to equipment and storage tanks.
The product pump is usually driven by a PTO. The PTO signal tells the tracker when the pump was running and for how long.
Wire colors for the chassis side are in our Vehicle Wiring Database.
Each stop shows pump time next to the customer address, so dispatch can check deliveries against tickets and spot stops where the truck sat but never pumped. Owners also see route efficiency and plan pump and PTO service by hours. The signals are simple on and off inputs, so they work with trackers that have auxiliary inputs. How the reports look depends on how your platform names and shows those inputs.
For the whole group, see our tanker and fuel truck tracking page.
Propane dealers, fuel distributors, farm and construction fuel delivery services and municipal fleets that fuel their own equipment.
When a customer asks whether a tank was filled, the pump time at their address answers it without pulling paper tickets.
This is one of the work truck and equipment applications we wire into GPS trackers. See all of them on our PTO and equipment monitoring page, and find wire colors for your truck in our Vehicle Wiring Database.
We wire PTO monitoring into trackers from all of these brands. Need heavy duty trackers for trucks or heavy equipment? Every brand below makes them, so pick yours and we install it.
