What the shop says

The Azuga shop lists a 256GB SD card, part number SD-256GB, at $80. It describes a high-grade card for longer video recordings on SafetyCam devices with fast data transfer. It does not give a speed class or a brand.

The Pro connection

Azuga's dash cam page lists the SafetyCam Pro with a 256GB card and says it supports a card up to 2TB. The same page lists support for up to four outside auxiliary cameras on the Pro. Azuga does not say how the card is shared between the road camera, the driver camera and those extra cameras, so we cannot tell you how a 256GB card fills when four extra cameras are fitted. If a customer plans a full camera set, ask Azuga before you decide the card is large enough.

Can it go in a Plus

The SafetyCam Plus is listed with a 128GB card and a 512GB maximum, so a 256GB card is within the Plus limit. We did not find an Azuga statement that approves this card for the Plus, so treat it as an upgrade you confirm first.

What a fleet order costs

VehiclesCards at $80 eachWith one spare per ten
10$800$880
25$2,000$2,240
50$4,000$4,400

This table is our own arithmetic from the shop price of $80 on 2026-10-21. A spare per ten vehicles is a rule of thumb, not an Azuga rule. The shop price can change, and larger orders may be priced differently if you ask Azuga.

Checks before you order for a Pro fleet

  1. Confirm every camera is a Pro and not a Plus. Azuga ties the model to the serial: the letter before the number tells you which one.
  2. Confirm what card each camera already has. A used camera may already carry a different size.
  3. Decide whether the fleet will use auxiliary cameras, and ask Azuga whether 256GB is enough for that set.
  4. Order spares with the cards, not later.

Do not mix sizes by accident

Put a label on every card slot cover or work order with the size installed. A mixed fleet is hard to support, because a customer will ask why one truck holds more video than another.

Where to go next

Questions we get

Is 256GB enough for a Pro with aux cameras?

Azuga does not say how recording is split between cameras. Ask Azuga for guidance in writing before you tell a customer.

Why not buy the 512GB card instead?

It costs $150 against $80. Azuga lists 256GB as the Pro card, so stay with the listed size unless a customer has a reason to go larger.

Does the card come with the camera?

We do not know what ships in the Pro box. Ask Azuga before you plan around it.
