A 9 foot extension moves a temperature probe away from the tracker. The hard part is not the cable, it is measuring the real path and routing it so it survives.

The Azuga shop lists this as an extension cable for a temperature sensor, 9 feet long, part number HTC-008, at $9.99. Its description says it extends the reach of temperature sensors while passing data reliably. It lists no connector types and no compatible device. The 18 foot version, HTC-008-18, has the same price.
The straight line from the probe to the tracker is never the length of the cable. The cable follows panels, edges, frames and corners. Run a piece of string along the exact route you plan to use, mark it, then measure the string. That number, not the one on the tape from the probe to the tracker, decides the part.
A rule of thumb is to add about a fifth to the string measurement and then round up to the next cable size. That is general practice, not an Azuga figure.
If nine feet is not enough, it is tempting to join two extensions. Azuga does not say whether chaining is supported, how many cables can be joined, or whether the sensor reading changes with total length. Until Azuga says so in writing, we would buy the single cable that is long enough, which is the 18 foot version, rather than joining two nines.
It depends on where the probe and tracker sit. Measure your own route with string. Azuga does not say how long a total run can be, so do not assume.
Azuga does not say it is supported. The 18 foot cable costs the same $9.99 as the 9 foot one as of 2026-10-21, so a single longer cable is the cleaner choice.
Azuga has not published anything on this. Test the reading with a trusted thermometer after you install it.
