Found one in the field? Here is what Azuga documents about the older battery and hardwired asset trackers.
Azuga's current website lists three asset trackers: the Solar GL601MG, the Long-Life GL502A and the Rechargeable GV620MG. Azuga's help center also still documents three older trackers: the GL500M, the GL520MG and the GV600 and GV600M. If you inherit a fleet, you may find these in the field. This page covers what Azuga has published about them.
Not verified as discontinued
We found no Azuga notice that any of them has been discontinued or replaced. Azuga's help articles for them are still live. We cannot say whether you can still buy them.
These are battery trackers. You activate them with a power button, then mount them with a magnetic bracket or 3M tape. Azuga does not state the battery type, capacity or runtime in the pages we read, and it does not give dimensions, weight, ingress rating or temperature range for these two. Those are not verified.
| Step | What Azuga says |
|---|---|
| Turn on | Hold the power button more than 3 seconds. |
| Activation | Wait for network registration, then GPS lock. About 15 to 20 minutes depending on coverage. Moving it a couple of yards can help. |
| Confirm | Check Admin, then Devices, and read the Activation Date. This is on the GL520MG page. |
| Mount | Magnetic bracket (hook it onto the tracker, circular opening over the device, four magnets to a metal surface) or 3M double-coated tape. Antenna side to the sky. |
| See data | On the Live page about 5 to 10 minutes after movement. |
Azuga's install time estimate is 15 to 20 minutes or more, mostly waiting.
Colors are not published
Azuga names a STATUS light and a GPS light and describes patterns. It never says what color either one is. Our drawing uses plain white for both so we do not invent a color. The timing of fast and slow flashing is approximate. The activation playback is sped up, since the real thing takes 15 to 20 minutes.
Tap a light pattern to see it
Each button plays the pattern on the device above and says out loud what it means.
🔇 Azuga does not mention a speaker or beeps on these trackers.
That is silence in the documents, not a statement of no sound. We treat them as silent.
The install guide says to avoid metal surfaces and enclosed spaces, then gives a magnetic bracket that sticks to metal. The sensible reading is to use an exposed metal surface with the antenna side facing the sky, and not to put the tracker inside or under anything. If the surface is hidden, use the 3M tape on a clear spot instead.
The GV600 is the older hardwired asset tracker in the same family. Azuga's GV600 article describes an 18-wire harness like the GV620MG, and says only red (constant power) and black (ground) need connecting. The harness names red on pin 1, black on pin 3, white on pin 5 for ignition and grey on pin 9 for a 1-Wire temperature input.

Azuga's page for GV600 lights says the lights flash once external power arrives and then shows a table. We could not read that table, so we do not list GV600 lights. The one GV600M fact we can give is that a network light that flashes fast all the time means not registered or weak signal.
Azuga says activation takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on coverage. Do it before you mount the tracker, and check the Activation Date under Admin, then Devices.
The STATUS light flashes fast while it searches for the cellular network and flashes slowly once registered. The GPS light flashes fast while it searches for satellites and goes solid when it has coordinates. Azuga does not give the colors.
We could not verify that. Azuga's help center still documents them, but azuga.com now lists the GL601MG, GL502A and GV620MG.
Azuga says it means the tracker is not registered or has a weak signal. Move it to a place with proper LTE coverage.
