A $12.99 mount that holds an AUX camera at the back of the vehicle. A rear view is the one that settles who hit whom, so it is worth planning well.

The shop lists a rear mount for the AI SafetyCam AUX camera. It says the mount holds the camera securely at the back of the vehicle with suitable viewing angles. The price was $12.99 on 2026-10-21, more than twice the side mount. The shop does not say why.
The first of these is our reading of what a rear camera is good for. Azuga does not describe the use cases in the shop text.
| Question | Side mount | Rear mount |
|---|---|---|
| Typical view | Blind spot, lane changes | Following traffic, backing, doors |
| Dirt exposure | Spray from the wheels | Road dust and exhaust film |
| Cable or power route | Short to the cab | Long run to the back |
| Shop price | $5 | $12.99 |

A rear camera on a tractor-trailer raises questions the shop does not answer. If the camera sits on the trailer, what happens when the trailer is dropped or swapped? How far is it from the main camera in the cab? Azuga publishes no Wi-Fi range for these cameras in the pages we read. Test the distance on the real vehicle before you commit, and ask Azuga whether trailer mounting is supported.
Azuga says aux camera feeds do not stream with the ignition off on this camera, because the power is not constant. A rear camera on a parked van will not give a live view overnight.
The shop does not say. We would not assume it is a larger mount or a better one.
Azuga does not say. Ask before you try, and test the range on the real vehicle.
The shop lists it for the AI SafetyCam AUX camera. The Pro has its own dome and square cameras and cables, covered on the aux camera page.
