A 5 meter extension for a Pro aux camera. The hard part is measuring the run, so this page is about getting the length right the first time.

The shop says this cable extends the connection of auxiliary devices for the SafetyCam Pro over 5 meters, about 16 feet. It describes the cable as built for demanding environments. It does not list connector types. The part number ends in MF, and Azuga does not say what that stands for, so we will not guess. It was in stock at $35 on 2026-10-21.
Azuga documents two aux camera shapes. The dome is side-mounted with a 5 m cable. The square is rear-mounted with a 10 m cable. So a dome may already reach a short side run, and this extension is for the cases where it does not. Before you order, find out what cable length your camera actually arrived with, because the shop does not list the cameras.
Azuga does not publish a maximum total cable length, or say whether extensions can be joined end to end. Each joint is another connector to fail. If one 5 m cable gets you there, use one. If you need much more, the 10 m cable is likely the better single piece. Until Azuga publishes a limit in writing, keep the number of joints low.
| Plan | Parts | Shop cost |
|---|---|---|
| Short side run | Camera cable only | No extension needed |
| Moderate run | One 5 m extension | $35 |
| Long run | One 10 m extension instead of two 5 m | $55 versus $70 |
The two-cable total in that last row is our arithmetic from the listed prices. Keep a short note of the length you fitted on each vehicle, so a repair visit starts with the right spare in the van.
The shop lists it as a separate part. We do not know what ships with a camera order, so ask Azuga.
Azuga does not say. We would use a single longer cable where we can.
The shop says it is built for demanding environments and gives no rating. Keep the connection inside the cab or in a sealed spot unless Azuga says otherwise.
