Our technicians fit GPS trackers, dash cameras and telematics on commercial fleets across Anderson County, from contractors with 1 to 10 vehicles up to the carriers and plant suppliers working the I-85 exits, and we do the work at your yard, lot or job site.
Anderson County sits halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte on I-85, with more than 216,000 residents and eight interchanges between the SC 24 exit near the lake and the SC 153 exit at Powdersville. Much of the county's freight gathers at just a few of them. At Exit 27, Techtronic Industries, the company behind Milwaukee and Ryobi tools, runs a 1.3 million square foot distribution, assembly and reconditioning center. Hunt Midwest's 200-acre Evergreen Logistics Park sits by the same I-85 and SC 81 interchange, next door to a FedEx terminal. Regional and national carriers serving those sites need their tractors and trucks fitted without losing a day of loads, and that is the work we are set up for.
The manufacturing base has moved well past its textile roots. The Upstate SC Alliance lists Michelin, Milliken, Arthrex, Robert Bosch, Techtronic Industries, International Vitamin Corporation and OPMobility among the county's largest employers, with Glen Raven, Timken, Dodge Industrial, First Quality and Vertiv close behind. Bosch's plant builds powertrain sensors and electronic control units. Glen Raven added a distribution center to its Sunbrella fabric plant on Liberty Highway. Vertiv makes switchgear and busbar off SC 8 near I-85 and added a 215,000 square foot plant in Pelzer for modular data center power systems. Every one of those plants relies on suppliers, haulers, maintenance contractors and service vans, and those are the fleets we fit.
Then there are the trades. Growth shows up along Midway Road, where the City of Anderson's annexation brought more than 500 new houses and SCDOT planned two roundabouts to handle the traffic, and at the Powdersville end of the county, where Pattillo's Anderson Gateway Commerce Center at Exit 40 is due in fall 2026. That work keeps builders, electricians, HVAC and plumbing crews, landscapers, pest control and pool service outfits busy, and most of them run 1 to 10 vehicles. A two-van electrician is wired by the crew that fits carrier tractors, to the identical standard, and the job is normally wrapped up in a single trip.
The west side of the county has its own mix. Pendleton is home to the main campus of Tri-County Technical College on US 76 and to Clemson University's T. Ed Garrison Arena, the state's only full-service public livestock facility, whose shows and sales run on horse trailers and livestock haulers. Lake Hartwell's 56,000 acres keep boat dealers, marine service trucks, dock builders and lakefront landscapers on the road, and Green Pond Landing hosts the Mercury B.A.S.S. Nation Championship on November 18 to 21, 2026, the fourth time that event has come here. City and county government fleets are covered on our municipal page; this page is for everyone else.
We install on anything from a single service van to a full tractor fleet, on the platform you already pay for.
Hardwired units on tractors and box trucks working the Exit 27 and Exit 32 plants, OBD units on the pickups and vans trades crews drive, and geofences drawn around the gates and docks you actually deliver to, not just the interchange.
Forward and cab-facing cameras for carriers running I-85 every day, and backup cameras mounted high and sealed on trucks that back boat trailers down lake ramps or stock trailers into show barns.
Ignition, PTO and door inputs, low-draw sleep settings for trucks that sit between jobs, and clean data into Samsara, Motive, Verizon Connect, Geotab or whatever system your dispatch already runs.
Because one interchange serves several very different stops. Around the I-85 and SC 81 interchange you have the Techtronic Industries distribution campus, Evergreen Logistics Park and a FedEx terminal within a short drive of each other. A geofence drawn loosely around the exit will show a truck as arrived when it is really sitting at the wrong site, and your dwell and detention reports turn into guesswork.
So during setup we draw a geofence around the actual gate, guard shack or dock you use at each customer, then check it against a real trip before we leave. If your drivers run between several sites off the same exit in one shift, each stop shows as its own visit, so you have proof ready when a customer questions how long your truck waited.
Yes. Around Lake Hartwell, boat dealers, marine service outfits and dock builders back trailers down ramps week in and week out, and the water line on those ramps moves with the lake: summer full pool is 660 feet above sea level and winter full pool is 656. A backup camera mounted low near the hitch ends up splashed or dunked, and a tracker spliced into the trailer lighting circuit fails the first time that plug corrodes.
We mount backup cameras high on the tailgate or body, use sealed connectors, and power trackers and cameras from their own fused circuits, kept apart from the seven-pin trailer wiring. A corroded trailer plug or a flooded tail light then never takes your GPS down with it. With the championship at Green Pond Landing in November 2026, we book lake-business installs ahead of that week so trucks are ready when the ramps are busiest.
Yes, and around Anderson that question comes up a lot this year. Electrolux is phasing out refrigerator production at its Anderson plant in July 2026, retooling for about six months and reopening in the first half of 2027 to build laundry appliances. Vertiv's Pelzer plant, the Anderson Gateway Commerce Center and Signature Foods' first U.S. plant on the Easley side of the county add more project work. Mechanical, electrical, rigging and construction contractors often staff jobs like these with extra trucks for a few months, then hand them back.
We install on those vehicles as they arrive and record each device against the VIN. When a rental goes back, we pull the unit, move it to the next truck and update the platform so each truck's record stays accurate. Where a truck only needs tracking for the length of a project, we use plug-in or quick-disconnect installs that come out clean, with no cut wires left for the rental company to find.
Not if it is set up for how the truck is really used. Plenty of Anderson County vehicles sit for days between trips: farm trucks and livestock haulers that run to shows and sales at the Garrison Arena in Pendleton, boat haulers parked through the winter, and spare pickups in a contractor's yard. A tracker left on a busy reporting schedule will slowly flatten the battery of a truck that stays parked for two weeks.
We wire to a constant and an ignition source the device can tell apart, set the sleep and reporting intervals to match how often the vehicle actually moves, and check the parked draw with a meter before we leave. For stock trailers and other unpowered equipment, a self-powered asset tracker does the job without touching the truck's wiring at all.
We work throughout Anderson County, Pickens County and Oconee County:
We work throughout Anderson County and into the Pickens and Oconee county edges around Clemson and Easley, and we come to your yard, lot or job site.
Yes, gladly. A Powdersville plumber with two vans or a Belton landscaper with eight trucks is wired by the technicians who fit tractors at the Exit 27 sites, to identical standards. A fleet that size is normally finished in one trip to your shop or wherever the trucks sleep.
We install Samsara, Motive, Verizon Connect, Geotab, Lytx, Netradyne, Powerfleet, CalAmp and more. If a shipper contract at one of the Exit 27 or Exit 32 sites, or your head office, has settled on one system, that is the one we fit, and on a mixed fleet we can run two platforms side by side.
Yes. When your trucks park behind a plant fence, we follow the site's check-in, safety gear and escort rules and work where the vehicles already sit, so nothing has to leave the property for an install.
Yes. We install for fleets in Pendleton, Clemson, Townville and around Lake Hartwell as well as Anderson, Williamston, Pelzer, Piedmont and Powdersville. We come to the yard, marina or job site where your vehicles are.
Yes. We fit forward and in-cab cameras to trucks with existing trackers, tie them into the same platform where it supports that, and route the new wiring so it does not share a fuse or ground with the tracker already in place.
