Hilton Head Island runs its own fire and ambulance service, a full slate of town departments, and a fleet that has to keep working through beach season, storm season and everything between. We install GPS tracking, dash and backup cameras, and telematics on municipal vehicles, wired cleanly and documented so your fleet staff can support them for years. We work with the platform your town has chosen, and we offer equipment along with installation when you need hardware sourced too.
Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue. Fire Rescue is a Town department, and it does more than fight fires. According to the Town, Fire Rescue is responsible for transporting all patients to the hospital, and every station carries an Advanced Life Support ambulance alongside an engine or quint. The department operates seven fire stations plus a training facility, holds an ISO Class 2 rating earned in 2025, and has held accreditation from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International since 2002. Its 2023 annual report lists 56 fleet vehicles and 9,560 calls for service, the majority of them medical. Fire Rescue also runs the island's E911 Communications Center and has its own Fleet Manager, which makes it a natural partner for a structured install program.
Public Safety and Community Code Enforcement. The Town's Community Code Enforcement officers work every day, including holidays, patrolling beaches, parks, properties and waterways and enforcing rules on short-term rentals, e-bikes and paid beach parking.
Facilities, Engineering and Public Projects. These Town departments, listed separately in the Town staff directory, handle the buildings, infrastructure, capital work and stormwater maintenance that keep the island running. Their trucks spend their days on job sites, park grounds and drainage work.
Planning and Building Services. Inspectors and planning staff move between permit sites all over the island, and simple GPS tracking helps supervisors balance routes and confirm site visits.
Every major platform, installed on site for Hilton Head Island fleets.
Live location for every unit, whether an ambulance is running William Hilton Parkway toward the bridges or a facilities truck is crossing Pope Avenue toward Coligny. Tracking supports dispatch awareness, idle reporting and accurate mileage records.

Forward, cab and rear cameras for apparatus and work trucks that back into tight beach park lots, roundabouts and plantation gates.

We are a Geotab authorized installer and also install Samsara, Motive, Verizon Connect, Lytx, Netradyne, Powerfleet and CalAmp. If the Town already has a contract in place, we install to that platform rather than pushing a switch.
Vehicles that work an oceanfront island live in salt spray and blowing sand. We use sealed connections, protected harness routing and secure mounting so devices and cameras hold up through years of coastal exposure instead of failing at the connectors.
The Town identifies William Hilton Parkway and the Cross Island Parkway as the evacuation routes off the island, and Beaufort County has cited hurricane evacuation reliability as a goal of the US 278 bridge replacement work. When a storm approaches, knowing exactly where every Town vehicle is becomes critical, and we schedule installs well ahead of hurricane season so nothing is half finished when it matters.
The Town's official beach season runs from April 1 through September 30, and island traffic changes with it. We plan install windows around your busiest months, staging vehicles in small batches so departments never lose too many units at once.
The Town does not have its own police force. Law enforcement on Hilton Head Island is provided by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, so patrol vehicles are a county matter and outside the scope of this page. Our work here is with the Town's own departments listed above.
We serve Hilton Head Island and the surrounding Lowcountry from our South Carolina base, with technicians who travel to your fleet yard or station so vehicles stay close to where they are needed.
Yes. We plan power and harness routing around lighting, radios and medical equipment, and we coordinate with your fleet staff before touching any emergency system.
No. We install every major brand, including Geotab, Samsara, Motive, Verizon Connect, Lytx, Netradyne, Powerfleet and CalAmp, so we work with whatever system you already use.
Yes. We can source equipment for you or install hardware the Town has already purchased.
We schedule in small groups, work on site where possible and avoid peak season and storm preparation periods.
Patrol vehicles on the island belong to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, a county agency, so they are outside the scope of this Town-focused page.
