We install fleet GPS trackers, dash cameras and telematics for the service businesses that keep Hilton Head Island running, from landscaping and pool crews to HVAC, cleaning and property management vans. Every install is done on site at your yard, job site or driveway, so your trucks stay on the island instead of sitting in traffic on the bridges. We work with every major platform and offer equipment along with installation.
Most of the work on Hilton Head is done by small service companies, and that is where we put our attention first. If you run a small fleet of 1 to 10 vehicles, such as a lawn and landscape crew, a pool route, a handyman or HVAC outfit, a vacation rental cleaning team or a property management company with a few vans, we will come to you and install the whole fleet in one visit whenever possible.
We also install for larger fleets, including resort and hospitality service operations and contractors that send crews over from the mainland. Public fleets for the Town of Hilton Head Island are covered on our separate municipal page.
Every major platform, installed on site for Hilton Head Island fleets.
Hardwired or plug-in trackers for pickups, cargo vans, box trucks and trailers. On Hilton Head that means seeing which crew is closest when a rental owner calls with a same-day problem, confirming arrival and departure times at a property for billing, and spotting the truck that left the island for the day when it was scheduled to stay. We also hide asset trackers on mowers and trailers left at job sites.
Road-facing, driver-facing and backup cameras for vans and trucks that spend their day backing into tight driveways, villa parking lots and narrow service roads full of cyclists, golf carts and pedestrians. Clear footage protects your drivers when a visitor makes a sudden turn.
We install Samsara, Motive, Geotab, Verizon Connect, Lytx, Netradyne, Powerfleet and CalAmp, and we are a Geotab authorized installer among the many brands we work with. If you already picked a platform, we install it. If you have not, we can supply the equipment with the install.
US 278 is the only mainland connection to Hilton Head Island, and the bridge system carries heavy traffic, with portions seeing as many as 56,000 vehicles per day according to the Coastal Conservation League. The eastbound bridge over Mackay Creek, built in the 1950s, is being replaced, with bidding expected in 2027 and completion required by 2031. Tracking shows how much of each day goes to the bridges, and on-site installs mean your trucks never leave the island for a shop.
Much of the island's residential work happens inside gated communities. Sea Pines, for example, requires a gate pass to enter by car, and its gate access rules are set by Sea Pines Community Service Associates. Each community sets its own rules, so when your vehicles are parked behind a gate we confirm access with you before the appointment.
Salt in the coastal air and water corrodes exposed metal, and driving through salty standing water in low areas can damage a vehicle. We mount hardware inside the cab wherever possible, keep connections protected from moisture and route wiring away from areas that collect water.
If your workload rises and falls with the visitor season and you add or drop vehicles to match, trackers can be moved between vehicles as your fleet grows and shrinks. The Cross Island Parkway, a 7.5-mile limited-access route that no longer charges a toll, connects William Hilton Parkway with Palmetto Bay Road and Sea Pines Circle.
We install on site across Hilton Head Island and the surrounding Lowcountry, at your shop, a job site or a driver's home. Daufuskie Island has no bridge, so work there is scheduled with you around barge access.
Yes. Small fleets are the core of what we do. A landscaper with three trucks gets the same on-site service as a large account.
Yes, as long as access is arranged. Gated communities on the island set their own rules for who can come through the gate, so we confirm the details with you ahead of time and install wherever your vehicles are parked.
All the major ones, including Samsara, Motive, Geotab, Verizon Connect, Lytx, Netradyne, Powerfleet and CalAmp. If you already have accounts with a provider, we install their hardware. If you are starting fresh, we can supply equipment with the installation.
Yes. We plan appointments to avoid the busiest bridge times whenever we can, and we try to complete an entire fleet in one trip so your vehicles are out of service for as little time as possible.
Yes. We can move trackers and cameras between vehicles as your fleet changes through the year.
