The HRN-CP04K2 is a Geotab kit that connects a GO device to the PSM module on Mercedes Sprinter vans built on the 907 chassis. It contains the HRN-CP04A2 harness and a fuse kit, and it requires the HRN-CM24Y1-A.

The HRN-CP04K2 is a Geotab installation kit for Mercedes Sprinter vans on the 907 chassis, sold for global markets, that wires a GO device into the van's PSM module rather than relying on the diagnostic port alone. Inside the kit are the HRN-CP04A2 harness and a fuse kit. The listed length is 60 cm (24 in), and the HRN-CM24Y1-A must be used with it.
Sprinters are popular with courier, plumbing, electrical and mobile service companies, and many are upfitted heavily. This kit takes a route that suits those vans: it reaches the module tucked behind the driver seat, inserting data and ground leads into the factory connector there, and hands the result to the base harness that carries the GO device.
Geotab lists the kit for Mercedes Sprinters on the 907 chassis in global markets. The supporting install document is written for a 2020 Mercedes Sprinter 2500, and its pin tables carry a Sprinter MY19 label. Geotab does not publish a broader year range on the listing, so for other model years we compare the module and connector on the van against the guide before ordering.
The guide pairs the HRN-CP04A2 with the HRN-CM24Y1-A and a GO9. Fleets on GO10 hardware should speak with us first so we can confirm how the device will connect to this custom harness set.
Upfitted Sprinters often have shelving, inverters and lighting packed around the cab, and the area near the diagnostic port gets crowded. Moving the main connection to the module behind the driver seat keeps the device and harness away from the driver's feet and away from the clutter at the dash.
It also matters for how the van is used day to day. Service vans get scanned, serviced and sometimes passed between drivers, and a module-level install is less likely to be disturbed than a plug hanging at knee height. For the fleet office, that translates into fewer devices going dark after a shop visit.
The outline below follows Geotab's 2020 Sprinter 2500 guide for the HRN-CM24Y1 and HRN-CP04A2:
Hold the total connected harness length to 2 m (6.5 ft), and never stack T-harnesses.

Pin insertion into a factory connector is the delicate part: open the plug carefully, push each lead from the back until it seats, and tug-test before closing it. Match colors to pins exactly as this kit's guide shows, since Geotab's guide for the separate HRN-UP21Y2 uses different lead colors for the same pins. Bundle the new leads with the factory loom so nothing can catch on the seat rails when the seat goes back in. The guide is Rev A1 from 2021, so we check for a newer revision before each job.
Geotab lists the kit as the HRN-CP04A2 harness plus a fuse kit. The HRN-CM24Y1-A base harness is a separate requirement and is not part of the kit.
Geotab's harness listing describes a PSM module connection, while its 2020 Sprinter 2500 guide labels the module behind the driver seat as the OEM FSM module. It is the same job; the two documents simply use different names.
Yes. Geotab's Sprinter guide starts by taking out the driver seat with a screwdriver to reach the module connector and the harness power connection.
Sprinter service vans are a big part of the small fleets we look after. API Signal supplies the HRN-CP04K2 kit, the base harness and the GO device, and installs them on site at your yard so vans spend as little time parked as possible. Ring 803-513-1009 or describe your vans on Get a Quote.
