How Zonar data flows into maintenance, field service and fuel software, and what each connection does for a fleet.
Zonar's partner material covers connections with maintenance software, field service software and fuel cards, plus two tools of Zonar's own for service businesses. The idea in each case is the same: data the tracker already collects, such as location, odometer readings and engine faults, flows into the software the fleet already uses, so nobody types it in twice.
Fleetio is fleet maintenance software. With the connection in place, Zonar sends fault codes, odometer readings and locations into Fleetio. When a device reports a DTC or engine fault, Fleetio gets a notification and the fleet can turn it into a Fleetio issue with one click, then assign it to a mechanic or start a maintenance workflow. Current mileage from Zonar keeps meter readings up to date, which is what triggers preventive maintenance reminders on time.
ServiceTitan is software for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other home and commercial service businesses. Zonar's brochure covers what ServiceTitan brings to the pairing: customer details that fill in automatically as calls come in, open estimates tracked in one place with automatic follow-up, and real-time performance numbers broken down by job type and by technician.
Drivers pay with fuel-only cards that work like a credit card anywhere MasterCard is accepted, and the purchases show up in the same software as the tracking data. Managers can:
Zonar's brochure states that customers see an average fuel cost reduction of 30% after starting the fuel card program. That is Zonar's figure, and results depend on the fleet.
FieldSync is Zonar's field service management tool for service businesses. It covers scheduling, dispatch, estimates, work orders and invoicing in one dashboard, and suggests the best technician for a job based on skills, distance and availability while the customer is still on the phone. Customers get a confirmation text, an on-the-way message with the technician's photo, and a review link when the job is done. Technicians use an iOS or Android app that lists their jobs in order, lets them add work on site and take payment, and keeps working offline, syncing the last 30 days of data when coverage returns. It connects to QuickBooks for billing.
ETA Link, included in the GPS Trackit plan, sends a customer a text or email link showing the technician's live location and estimated arrival time. Zonar notes the link expires when the technician arrives, or after eight hours, for privacy and safety. It cuts down the "where is my tech" calls that tie up dispatch.
Every one of these connections depends on clean data coming out of the vehicle. A tracker whose ignition wire sits on the wrong circuit reports wrong hours, and one without an engine data connection sends no fault codes for Fleetio to act on. That is why the install matters as much as the software choice. When we install a Zonar system for a fleet that plans to connect maintenance or fuel software, we make sure the engine data cable is in and reporting, so the integration has something to work with.
Fleets already running Fleetio or ServiceTitan get the most from connecting them, since the data stops being typed in twice. Fleets with heavy fuel spend are the natural fit for the fuel card program. Smaller service businesses without their own scheduling software may find FieldSync and ETA Link cover what they need. It is worth asking Zonar which connections come with the plan being quoted and which cost extra.

Yes. Fault codes, odometer readings and locations flow into Fleetio, and a fault can become a Fleetio issue with one click.
Anywhere that accepts MasterCard. The cards are limited to fuel purchases.
Until the technician arrives, or eight hours at most, for privacy and safety.
