Box trucks and service trucks carry the load and the tools, and they are often the most expensive vehicles a small or mid-size fleet owns. We install GPS tracking devices on medium duty trucks across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi, matched to the truck's diagnostic port, secured out of sight, and tested before the truck goes back out.
Fleet installs from $65 per vehicle. Testing a few vehicles first? We do pilot installs too.

Medium duty sits between the pickup and the semi: box trucks and straight trucks, cutaway vans with box bodies, service and utility body trucks, stake beds, flatbeds, small dump trucks and refrigerated box trucks. Plumbers, electricians, HVAC companies, delivery and moving companies, food distributors and rental fleets all run them. For cars, pickups and vans see our light duty installation page, and for tractors our semi truck installation page.
This is where medium duty gets mixed up. Many gas-powered box trucks and cutaways use the same OBD2 port as a pickup. Many diesel box trucks and medium duty chassis use the heavy duty 9-pin port instead, the same one found on semis. A fleet with both kinds of truck needs two different harnesses, and ordering the wrong one is one of the most common reasons an install day goes sideways.
We check every truck on your list before the job, so the right Y-split harness is on the truck when we arrive. Port locations and wire colors for specific vehicles are in our Vehicle Wiring Database.
Box truck cabs are often tighter behind the dash than a pickup's, and older trucks may have years of other equipment wired in already, so we look before we cut anything.
The tracker is the start. On medium duty trucks fleets often add:
Where every truck is and where it has been, how long it sat at each stop, idling time, speeding and harsh braking, and mileage or engine hours for service. On delivery routes, arrival and departure times at each stop answer the customer's question before it turns into a complaint. Real-time tracking runs over the cellular network, so it carries a monthly plan from the tracking provider. See all the vehicles we track for the rest of the fleet.
We install all of these on box trucks and service trucks, with the OBD2 or 9-pin harness each truck needs. Need heavy duty trackers for trucks or heavy equipment? Every brand below makes them, so pick yours and we install it.
Common questions
It depends on the truck. Many gas box trucks use OBD2, and many diesel box trucks use the heavy duty 9-pin. We check your trucks before the job so the right harness is on hand.
Yes. Temperature and door sensors report into the same tracking platform, with alerts when the box runs warm or a door opens.
Yes. We plan the harnesses for each vehicle on your list and install them in the same visit.
A tracker alone usually takes well under an hour. Sensors, cameras and liftgate inputs add time, and we tell you the plan up front.
