Which wires give constant, ignition and ground on a 2010 Ford E-Series Van and Cutaway?
On a 2010 Ford E-Series Van and Cutaway, take constant power from the Green/Red wire at the Ford upfitter connector at the driver B-pillar, gray 6-way, cavity 3, ignition from the Yellow/Orange wire at the same 6-way connector, cavity 5, and ground to the Black wire at the same 6-way connector, cavity 1. Meter every wire first.
Written by API Signal, fleet GPS and camera installers for 35+ years across Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, installing every major telematics and camera brand. Every wire on this page lists its source.
Test every wire with a meter before you tap it
No wiring information is ever guaranteed. Colors and locations change with trim, options and build date, and the manufacturer can change them in the middle of a model year. We share this as a starting point for installers, and you are responsible for confirming every connection on the truck in front of you.
This page covers the 2010 Ford E-Series: E-150 to E-350 vans, E-350 and E-450 cutaways and stripped chassis.
We did not find a 2010 book. Ford's 2009 and 2013 books print the same colors, so they are used here. Our own team has not yet metered these on a 2010 van, and each row says so.

Where do I get constant, ignition and ground on a 2010 Ford E-Series Van and Cutaway?
Take constant, ignition and ground from the same area. Ford builds a customer power connector into the driver B-pillar with battery, run/start and ground, which is the cleanest spot for a GPS or camera.
Option 1 Ford upfitter
Driver B-pillar 6-way connector
Ford's customer access connector at the driver B-pillar. Check your van has it.
Constant
Green/Red
The Ford upfitter connector at the driver B-pillar, gray 6-way, cavity 3Battery feed (circuit SBB68). Ford rates the connector at 35A combined. Cavity 6 (White/Red, SBB15) is another 25A battery feed.
Ignition
Yellow/Orange
Same 6-way connector, cavity 5Run/start feed (circuit CAC14), 25A combined.
Ground
Black
Same 6-way connector, cavity 1Ford's ground (circuit GD133), 40A.
Stripped chassis have instrument panel circuits instead: Brown/Red battery (21A), White run/start (3A) and Gray run/accessory (7A).
Option 2 Ignition switch
Ignition switch gray 13-pin
Steering column. Key start with a transponder key.
Ignition switch gray 13-pin plug, pin 1Hot in run and start. The 2011 and 2013 sheets agree.
Ground
Body ground
Body metal under the dashClean, bare metal only. Never the battery negative post.
Accessory
Brown/Yellow
Ignition switch gray 13-pin plug, pin 8Hot in accessory and run. Violet/Green on pin 3 is a second accessory.
The starter is Blue/White on pin 5. Never tap it. Blue/White is also used for reverse and the headlight input, so go by plug and pin.
Upfitter colors from Ford's body builder books (2009 and 2013) (OEM). Ignition switch colors from installer sheets for a 2011 E-450 and a 2013 E-250 on the12volt.
