You are under the dash with a meter, a clock and a pile of wires that all look the same. Find a constant wire, an ignition sense wire and a ground you can trust. Poke the wrong wire and the airbag harness will cost you points. Three vehicles, three levels, one rule: test it, do not trust it.
Tap a wire to probe it with the meter and move the key through OFF, ACC, RUN and START to see what it does. Pick your constant, ignition and ground, then connect and power up. You score 30 points for each correct connection, a 20 point speed bonus for a clean install inside the par time, and lose 50 points for every probe of the airbag wiring. A ground only passes if its voltage drop is 200 mV or less. The vehicles are examples, not real models, and the readings are simulated for training.
