Which wires give constant, ignition and ground on a 2026 Ford Super Duty?

On a 2026 Ford Super Duty, take constant power from the Brown/Red wire at the upfitter relay box, engine bay passenger side and ignition from the Brown/Blue wire at the SEIC/PTO customer access connector behind the passenger kick panel, pin 17, and ground to clean, bare body metal. Meter every wire first.

Written by API Signal, fleet GPS and camera installers for 35+ years across Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, installing every major telematics and camera brand. Every wire on this page lists its source.

Test every wire with a meter before you tap it

No wiring information is ever guaranteed. Colors and locations change with trim, options and build date, and the manufacturer can change them in the middle of a model year. We share this as a starting point for installers, and you are responsible for confirming every connection on the truck in front of you.

This page covers the 2026 Ford Super Duty pickups and chassis cabs. For 2026 Ford moved to a new upfitter system it calls Vehicle Integration System 2.0, with more vehicle signals over the data bus, so the upfitter wiring may have changed.

The pin data on this page comes from Ford's 2023 Body Builder book and has not been confirmed for 2026. Treat every row as a starting point and meter it. Our own team has not yet metered these on a 2026 truck, and each row says so.

Where do I get constant, ignition and ground on a 2026 Ford Super Duty?

Take constant, ignition and ground from the same area. On this truck Ford's own run/start wire sits in a customer access connector behind the passenger kick panel, and Ford's battery-hot and run/start upfit wires are at the upfitter relay box under the hood.

Option 1 Easiest in the cab

Passenger kick panel

Ford's SEIC/PTO customer access connector with a bare-wire pigtail, right side of the passenger footwell. Standard on every Super Duty.

Constant
Not found
No cab constant wire foundFord does not list one in the cab. Meter a fuse slot with the key off and use a fuse tap. Ford's battery-hot upfit wire is in the engine bay (Option 2).
Ignition
Brown/Blue
SEIC/PTO customer access connector behind the passenger kick panel, pin 17Ford run/start output, 5A fuse. Standard on every truck, key or push-button. From Ford's 2023 Body Builder book, carried to 2026; we did not find the 2026 book.
Ground
Body ground
Body metal in the passenger kick areaClean, bare metal only. Never the battery negative post.
The run/start wire is on a 5A fuse. Use it as the ignition sense wire, not to power a large load.
Option 2 Ford upfit wires

Upfitter relay box, under the hood

Engine bay, passenger side. Bare wires behind the box. Ford runs four pass-through wires through the dash to reach the cab.

Constant
Brown/Red
Upfitter relay box, engine bay passenger sideFord battery-hot output SB106, fuse F6, 20A. From Ford's 2023 Body Builder book, carried to 2026; we did not find the 2026 book.
Ignition
Brown
Upfitter relay box, engine bay passenger sideFord run/start output CB111, fuse F3, 20A. The same book also draws it Brown/White, so meter it.
Ground
Black/Violet
Ford ground point G131The upfitter relay box ground. Ford also shows Black/Gray on this ground.
Pass-through wires (bare both ends, cab end behind the passenger kick): Brown/Blue, White, White/Orange and Gray/Orange.

All power wires from Ford's 2023 Body Builder book (Ford Body Builder Advisory Service), which we read in full. Ford's book disagrees with itself on a few colors, and each row says so.
