Which wires give constant, ignition and ground on a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox?
On a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, take constant power from the Red/Brown wire at the BCM in the center console, passenger side, blue 27-pin plug, pin 4, ignition from the Purple/Black wire at the BCM, green 25-pin plug, pin 6, and ground to clean, bare body metal. Meter every wire first.

BCM in the center console
Remove the right side console panel. Push-button start on every trim.
Constant
Red/Brown
BCM in the center console, passenger side, blue 27-pin plug, pin 4Always hot, 20A. A technician answer on a 2020 gives Red/Green on pin 3 instead, so meter it.
Ignition
Purple/Black
BCM, green 25-pin plug, pin 6Hot in run. A 2018 owner saw 12V only with the engine running.

Body metal near the BCMClean, bare metal only. Never the battery negative post.
Accessory
Purple/Yellow
BCM, green 25-pin plug, pin 5Hot in accessory and run.
The starter is Yellow at the underhood fuse box gray 60-pin plug (X3), pin 34, and the start button input is Blue/Green on the blue 27-pin, pin 17. Never tap either.
