Wiring Database / Nissan / NV200 / 2016
Compact cargo van. Also sold as the Chevrolet City Express. Key start.
On a 2016 Nissan NV200, take constant power from the Blue wire at the ignition switch, white 6-pin plug, pin 3, ignition from the Red wire at the ignition switch, white 6-pin plug, pin 1, and ground to clean, bare body metal. Meter every wire first.
Written by API Signal, fleet GPS and camera installers for 35+ years across Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, installing every major telematics and camera brand. Every wire on this page lists its source.
No wiring information is ever guaranteed. Colors and locations change with trim, options and build date, and the manufacturer can change them in the middle of a model year. We share this as a starting point for installers, and you are responsible for confirming every connection on the truck in front of you.
This page covers the 2016 Nissan NV200 compact cargo van.
This van has a standard key. Most body wires on this page come from Nissan and GM documents that agree with each other. The Chevrolet City Express of this year is the same van with the same BCM pins and wire colors. Our own team has not yet metered these on a 2016 van.
We send fleet installation work to independent installers. One job goes to one installer. Now adding network partners in North Carolina.
Take constant, ignition and ground from the same area.
