Which wires give constant, ignition and ground on a 2007 Toyota Tacoma?
On a 2007 Toyota Tacoma, take constant power from the White/Red wire at the ignition switch, white 8-pin plug, pin 5, ignition from the Black/Red wire at the ignition switch, white 8-pin plug, pin 6, and ground to clean, bare body metal. Meter every wire first.

This truck has a standard key ignition. The ignition switch colors match every sheet we found. Body wires on 2005 to 2008 trucks differ from later ones, so this page shows fewer of them. No Toyota wiring diagram was available to us, so every color here is installer-reported. Our own team has not yet metered these on a 2007 truck, and each row says so.

Steering column, white 8-pin plug. Key start on every year of this body.

Ignition switch, white 8-pin plug, pin 5Always hot, 30A. A second constant is White/Blue (50A) on pin 4, reported for every year 2005 to 2015.

The starter is Green/Black on pin 7 (Black/White on pin 3 is the second starter). Never tap the starter.
