Metro Atlanta is the hardest place in Georgia to keep a fleet efficient — and the easiest place to prove telematics pays for itself. We install GPS trackers, dash cameras and Geotab hardware at your yard, from Fulton and Cobb out to Gwinnett, Henry and Douglas.
Metro Atlanta passed 6.4 million residents in 2025, making it the sixth-largest metro in the United States, and it added roughly 62,000 people in a single year. That growth lands directly on commercial fleets: more service calls, more deliveries, more construction, and more hours per vehicle.
The congestion is the story here. INRIX ranked Atlanta the seventh-worst city in the country for traffic delay in 2025, with the average driver losing about 75 hours — up 15% year over year. For a fleet, 75 hours of stop-and-go per driver is idle fuel burn, brake and transmission wear, and payroll spent stationary. It is also the single strongest business case for idle-time and harsh-event reporting we see anywhere in our service area.
The fleet mix reflects a diversified metro rather than one dominant industry. MARTA alone operates more than 550 buses across 101 routes plus 173 paratransit vans. Georgia's film industry — $2.3 billion in direct spending across 245 productions in FY2025, most of it based in metro Atlanta — runs a large, constantly moving transportation department of grip and electric trucks, camera trucks and shuttle vans. Add the distribution operations feeding 15 million square feet of industrial space under construction, plus the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping and construction fleets working every county in the perimeter, and you get an unusually broad installed base.
Whether it's one van or three hundred trucks, we schedule around your operation and install on site.
We install and service every major platform used by Atlanta fleets, and we do it at your location rather than tying up your vehicles at a shop.
Hardwired and OBD GPS trackers on vans, pickups, box trucks and Class 8 tractors, tuned for stop-and-go metro duty cycles.
Road-facing and dual-facing dash cams plus backup cameras — the highest-value safety spend for a fleet running I-285 and I-85 daily.

Atlanta is the only market in our Georgia service area with a vehicle emissions program. Georgia's Clean Air Force covers exactly 13 metro counties — Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding and Rockdale — and testing applies only to gasoline vehicles rated 8,500 lbs GVWR or less. Diesel vehicles are exempt entirely, as is anything above 8,500 lbs.
The practical effect for a fleet manager: a gas-powered service van garaged in Gwinnett has an annual test tied to registration, while the identical van garaged in Barrow or Walton does not. Fleets straddling that boundary end up managing two different renewal workflows, and mileage and location history from a telematics platform is often the cleanest way to document which units sit where.
Georgia's 2023 truck-weight law raised the maximum gross weight to 88,000 lbs for agriculture, forestry, livestock, concrete and granite hauls on non-federal highways within 150 miles of origin — but it explicitly excludes the same 13 metro Atlanta counties. If your operation runs aggregate or ready-mix both inside and outside the perimeter, the legal load changes with the county line.
GDOT is building 41 miles of toll-free, truck-only northbound lanes from the I-75/I-475 interchange near Macon to SR 20 in Henry County. Construction starts in 2027 and runs through 2032, at roughly $3.5 billion. Commercial vehicles with more than six wheels will be required to use them unless exiting locally. That corridor is currently about 30% trucks and ranks as the tenth-worst truck bottleneck in the nation. Fleets running the south-metro corridor should expect years of shifting work zones before the payoff.
We install at your yard, jobsite or terminal, and we work around metro traffic rather than through it — early starts and off-peak windows are usually faster for everyone.
We cover the full metro and the surrounding counties. A sample of where we work:
…and everywhere else inside and outside the perimeter. If your trucks are in metro Atlanta, we'll come to them.
Only if the vehicle is gasoline-powered, rated 8,500 lbs GVWR or under, and registered in one of the 13 covered counties: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding or Rockdale. Diesel vehicles of any size are exempt, and so is anything over 8,500 lbs GVWR. Vehicles in their three newest model years and those 25 model years or older are also exempt.
Yes — that is how we do the large majority of our Atlanta work. We bring the crew and equipment to your yard, terminal or jobsite. For metro Atlanta fleets, avoiding the drive to and from a shop is usually a bigger time saving than the install itself.
A straightforward hardwired GPS tracker is typically well under an hour per vehicle once we're set up on site. Dual-facing dash cameras and Geotab installs with IOX expanders or PTO integration take longer. When we quote a multi-vehicle job we give you a per-day throughput number so you can plan which units are down when.
Yes. Provider changes are a large share of our work — removing old hardware cleanly, correcting previous wiring, and installing the new platform in one visit so the vehicle only comes out of service once.
We're a Geotab Authorized Installer and we also install Samsara, Motive, Verizon Connect, Powerfleet, Quartix and most other major telematics and camera systems. If you're not sure what you have, send us a photo of the existing device and we'll identify it.
